Is there an application fee?
No, never. The application is 100% free. We will never ask you to pay anything at any stage. If anyone asks you for money in our name, it is a scam — please report it to us.
What if I don't have a scanner?
A clear photo from your phone is fine. Just make sure all the text is readable and the entire page is visible.
In what language should I write the motivation letter?
Either English or Amharic — whichever you can express yourself in best. We do not give preference to one over the other.
Can I apply more than once?
Yes, you can apply each year as long as you are still in Grade 9–12 and have not previously won the scholarship.
How will I know if I won?
We contact winners directly by phone and email. All applicants — winners or not — receive a notification by the announcement date.
How is the prize delivered?
By direct bank transfer, telebirr, or in person — whichever is most convenient for you. Read more about prizes.
How is my personal information used?
