The cash prize
Each year, at least three winners are selected and receive a direct cash award. The prize amount per winner is [ETB AMOUNT — fill in once decided]. The money is yours to use however best serves your education — school fees, books, transportation, tutoring, or supporting your family.
How the prize is delivered
Winners receive their prize within [X] weeks of being announced. We will arrange the most convenient option for you:
- Direct bank transfer (Commercial Bank of Ethiopia or other bank)
- telebirr transfer
- In-person handover at a small recognition event
What we ask in return
Winners are asked to:
- Stay enrolled in school
- Share a short progress update six months after receiving the prize
- (Optional) Allow us to share their story to inspire future applicants
